After over a decade in corporate finance—working across tech, manufacturing, and consumer goods—I saw firsthand that financial systems shouldn’t be a secret. So in 2023, I launched The Greenwood Institute to bring that strategy to the people who need it most: underestimated founders, nonprofits, and small businesses navigating real challenges with limited support. Through Fractional Controller services and education-first programming, I help businesses move from overwhelm to ownership.

My approach blends technical expertise (yes, I’ve got the degrees—B.A. and M.S. in Accounting & Info Systems from Michigan State University) with real-world strategy. But at my core, I’m a teacher. I break down the numbers. I train your team. I don’t just hand over reports—I make sure you understand what’s under the hood.
